Hongye offers high-quality Flexo Cold Foil designed specifically for high-speed rotary flexographic web production lines. Suitable for mass-production label manufacturing—including self-adhesive labels and shrink sleeves—it maintains a consistent metallic finish at high printing speeds and is compatible with post-print die-cutting and slitting processes. It works with paper, PE, PP, and BOPP label films. Available in various roll sizes, we also offer custom slitting and double-sided customization services.
We also supply Screen Print Cold Foil, Digital Foil, and other cold foil products; please feel free to contact us for details.

In the flexo cold foil process, a flexo unit prints UV cold foil adhesive onto the moving web substrate. The Flexo Cold Foil is laminated inline, followed by UV curing. Finally, the carrier film is stripped away, resulting in a continuous metallic label design.
Customization Services: Supports custom slitting widths and double-sided customization.
In-line Integration: Seamlessly integrates with flexo presses equipped with cold foil transfer units, enabling single-pass production.
Wide-Format Capability: Supports widths up to 1,500 mm, allowing for the coverage of large packaging surface areas in a single pass.
No Thermal Stress: Cold transfer eliminates substrate warping, shrinkage, or deformation caused by heat.
Cost-Efficiency: Eliminates the need for hot stamping dies or molds; ideal for short- to medium-run orders.
Design Flexibility: Enables variable data and customized designs without the need for plate changes.
Rapid Job Changeover: Plate changes take only minutes, whereas hot stamping die changes require significantly more time.
Broad Substrate Compatibility: Compatible with heat-sensitive materials, such as thin films and coated papers.
Environmental Benefits: Lower energy consumption compared to hot stamping processes.
Adhesive is applied using a dedicated flexo cold foil adhesive unit in conjunction with an anilox roller.
Uses UV-curable flexo cold foil adhesive with excellent wetting and transfer characteristics.
Recommended Anilox Rollers: 60–120 LPI for standard coverage; 30–60 LPI for large solid areas.
Ensures complete adhesive coverage over the target foil area, free of pinholes or voids.
