Platinum Digital Foil

Hongye Factory produces this Platinum Digital Foil specifically for the digital inkjet heat stamping process. It does not require plate-making or roller opening. It completes the transfer by relying on the digital printing ink layer. Currently, there are two mainstream appearances: fragmented gold and fragmented platinum silver.

Advantages

The product is made of high-performance PET as the base material. Its multi-layer composite structure takes into account both transfer printing performance and adaptability for subsequent processing. It can achieve local pattern stamping and also supports full-page base coating effect.

Product manufacturing process

1. Base material selection

Platinum Digital Foil uses low-heat-shrinkage PET base film. It strictly controls the cleanliness of the film surface to avoid inherent defects such as spots and scratches, ensuring the fidelity of the fragmented patterns.

2. Texture replication

A special molding process is used to generate irregular fragmented foil textures. No repetitive circular patterns are created to restore the realistic texture of fragmented gold and platinum foil.

3. Release coating

A thin and uniform release layer is coated to control the heat release performance and ensure that the fragmented patterns are completely detached from the base film without any texture defects.

4. Vacuum metallization treatment

High vacuum evaporation is carried out. The thickness of the coating layer is adjusted to create a mixed effect of matte and high gloss of fragmented platinum metal.

Temperature and humidity tolerance test

We simulate the storage and transportation environment of the product with temperature and humidity fluctuations to test the stability of the film roll storage and evaluate the performance degradation of the machine after long-term storage.
